Courtney Haye goes by the disc jockey name of DJC. He was born in Bronx, New York and moved to Orlando, Florida in the early 90’s with his family. DJC was involved in a variety of different sports and developed a deep passion for music as early as 10 years old. His father was and still is an avid music listener and owns a large variety of records and CDs. It was through his dad that music made an impact in the life of DJC. At the age of 10 DJC had a strong interest in Hip Hop, listening to the first album he ever owned, Kriss Kross. As time went on his passion for music grew as he started collecting tapes and CDs from Kriss Kross, Naughty by Nature, LL Cool J and much more. As time progressed, He was introduced to the DJ game by a DJ named DJ Xlusiv. DJ Xlusiv took DJC under his wings and showed him everything that it takes to be a great DJ. He invited DJC to some of his events, and eventually He would become DJ Xlusiv’s right hand man. With time, DJC decided to pursue his own career, starting first by djing alongside DJ Xlusiv. DJ Xlusiv saw the passion and desire in DJC and decided to book him with events in Orlando. DJC took his talents to the next level and started booking his own events. From that point, He started to branch out into different genres of music including Electro House, Rock, Dubstep, Mainstream and more. He also took his skill to the next level and began using music videos in addition to the typical music at clubs. Even today, He still has a burning desire for music and DJing. “I DJ for the people, not for myself; it’s just a bonus that I love to do this”. DJC is a strong believer in always keeping GOD first in everything he does. With that frame of mind and faith, he knows that God is right by his side in all that he does.
